site which interprets the life of early natives. Visit Rose Lawn Museum, the
beautifully restored Victorian mansion of the renowned evangelist Samuel
Porter Jones. Weinman Mineral Museum showcases a real fossil dig site
where you can find sharks’ teeth, trilobites, real and replicated bones, and
more. All these attractions are just 13 miles outside Acworth.

Spend a day swimming, boating, fishing, hiking or camping around lakes
Allatoona or Acworth, or venture south to nearby Atlanta to visit the Gone
