Acworth is active all year long with fun events in which the whole family can
participate, from special summertime sporting events to regularly scheduled
and seasonal events. For example, picnic with friends and family under the
stars during Acworth’s Summer Concert Series, held once each month during
the season at the Cauble Park gazebo on the shores of Lake Acworth. Get to
Cauble Park early on July 4th to ensure a good seat for a live concert, followed
by a traditional fireworks display over Lake Acworth. Cheer on tri-athletes from
around the Southeast as they compete in the Acworth’s Women’s 5K Sprint
Triathlon held every August in Dallas Landing Park.

Car-lovers will flock to downtown Acworth to view handsome, classic cars, trucks
and motorcycles during the Classic Car Cruise held throughout the year. As
another special treat, every first Friday of the month, you can leisurely dine and
shop in Acworth’s fine downtown establishments until 9:00 p.m. or later. A
different theme is highlighted each month with children’s activities and gourmet
food tastings. The MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard tour brings thousands of visitors to
Acworth's beaches.
